Profile: Accounting

Designation: Senior Accountant

Location: Gurgaon

ExperienceMinimum 4 – 7 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant

Qualification: Semi-qualified CAs / Graduate

Salary : 4-7Lp.a.

Work mode: Hybrid

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Ensure daily accounting entries are posted in books for all sales, purchase, cash &

bank, other journal entries as and when arising

● Ensure all the transactions are approved as per authorization matrix and

appropriate documentation & filing is maintained for every single accounting

transaction

● Conduct Daily, Monthly, and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate

reporting and ledger maintenance

● Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be

brought to the VP – Finance’s attention

● Conduct regular ledger maintenance and ensure all ledgers are up to date

● Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established

schedule and with input from rest of the accounting department

● Reconcile balance sheet accounts

● Ensure all the requisite input are captured in bookkeeping to ensure statutory

filings related information is readily available in books

● File for regular compliances like GST/ TDS/ PF/ PT on a timely basis

● Ensure cash flow is appropriately created for the organizations operations on a

fortnightly basis

● Support the VP - Finance with the preparation of monthly and annual financial

plans, maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments

● Coordinate and produce all the supporting data for tax documentations as

required.

● Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.

Skills required:

• Hands on experience with Tally and financial reporting requirements

• Thorough knowledge of Accounting as per Indian GAAP, Direct and Indirect

Taxation relating to corporate accounting

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems
