Job Description

Opening in one of the Big 6 firms in the world

Associate – 0-1yr exp

•      Candidate should possess strong article ship experience in Assurance Services or in a similar environment (Assurance and Accounting firms)

•      Candidate would be responsible for execution of client engagements - Ensuring quality delivery as per client requirements, understanding business & industry issues / trends.

•      Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per the defined methodology and compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures.

•      Candidate should be willing to travel within India or abroad.

Senior Associate – 2-3yrs exp

•      Candidate must have post qualification experience of 2 to 3 years in Assurance Services or in a similar environment (Assurance and Accounting firms)

•      Candidate would be involved in execution of client engagements - Ensuring quality delivery as per client requirements, preparation of working papers and coordination with client and other team members, understanding business & industry issues / trends, identifying areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations and ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures.

•      Candidate should be willing to travel within India or abroad.

Assistant Manager – 3+yrs exp

·         Candidate must have an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS and must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.

·         Candidate should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up-to-date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS and monitoring engagement budget with sufficient guidance from the Engagement Manager.

·         Candidate has to get the work reviewed directly by the Partner under the supervision of the Engagement Manager and proactively taking up full responsibility of documentation and guiding/monitoring junior resources of the team.

·         Candidate has to assist the firm leadership in preparing proposals for obtaining new mandates.

·         Candidate should be willing to travel within India or abroad.

Manager – 5+yrs exp

•                      Candidate must have an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.

•                      Candidate should be able to work closely with the Partner to build client relationships.

•                      Candidate must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.

•                      Should possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability and experience to communicate at all levels within an organization and Assurance Committee Meetings.

•                      Should have strong leadership skills to deal with senior management, drive various meetings and ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live firm's values

•                      Candidate must have proven supervision and coaching skills, ability to delegate, technical skills, the ability to motivate engagement teams and manage multiple engagements, have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions.

•                      Keep abreast of new developments  in the profession, business, industry & regulatory environment.

•                      Assist in identifying interesting companies for pitching / ideation and Preparing pitches for obtaining new mandates.

•                      Candidate should be willing to travel within India or abroad.
