Roles & Responsibilities
-Full ownership of the payment’s functions, both internally and externally across teams, platforms, and countries
-Define company’s payments strategy, vision, mission, and product road map to enable our strategic objectives
-Thought leadership for enabling company’s strategic objectives and building customer centric payments product capabilities by assessing the payments landscapes, regulations, ecosystem and defining the overall strategy and roadmap
-Initiate, own and manage the relationship with all partners and players in the payment ecosystem in the market such as schemes (Visa / MC / Amex), banks, acquirers, issuers, processors, and payment partners across countries, in various areas such as partner selection, performance, cost and commercial negotiations, regulatory monitoring, operational excellence, etc.
-Leading cross-functional teams from business, product, technical, finance, legal and others to identify new opportunities and generate new product ideas and experiences to deliver exponential growth for company and offer locally relevant payments experience and product offerings to our customer and merchants. Define the requirements for any new product and payment method, customer experience and performance optimization opportunities in the market
-Driving new strategic partnerships and contractual agreements along with commercial negotiations across partners - banks, payments system operators across countries, working collaboratively with legal, compliance, technology, finance, insurance, marketing, and other teams
-Leading a team to manage the operational process across partners banks, PSP, TSPs and other eco system players for reconciliations, timely payouts, billing, and day to day payments acceptance operations
-Manage the overall payments risk and fraud across countries along with chargebacks representation
-Defining key payment metrics and develop frameworks for tracking and reporting overall performance and derive actionable insights into improving customer experience, performance, and processing costs
-4-10 years of overall experience, expertise in Payments / Ecommerce strategies, products, programs, and systems
-Extensive experience in similar roles with product and partnership management experience relevant to this role
-Working experience in Payments / Ecommerce management in a high transaction-based environment
-Experience in managing, leading Payments and Ecommerce based projects and programs
-Proven capability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, strong bias for action
-Experienced in leading and working effectively with globally distributed teams & stakeholders
-Excellent communication skills along with the ability to communicate sophisticated information in a manner that can be understood by varied audiences.
-The candidate is expected to demonstrate outstanding leadership, and to be a strong influencer who can bring people across teams together around common goals.
-The candidate should have an ability to bring structure and order to ambiguous situations and problems and should be able to design product and technology solutions to solve complex business issues and translate into product requirements.
-Good negotiating & relationship building skills, ability to negotiate commercial agreements across a global cross-cultural environment
-Strong quantitative data analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills
